I bought an S-AFC II, and I wish I'd just settled for the first one instead of blowing more money for something I really didn't need in the first place. S-AFC II allows more accurate tuning...adjusts in increments of 200rpm, instead of 500rpm (S-AFC I). It also has a knock sensor. But the big thing, and you'll hear a lot of complaints about it...is the new little joystick thing on the S-AFC II...the buttons on the previous model were a lot easier to use. It's up to you, but I'd stick with what I already have.
